Y-Tel International Adds Experience from Cingular, Ericsson, and Digicel to Its Board of Directors

MIAMI --(Business Wire)-- April 27, 2005 -- Y-Tel International (OTCBB:YTLI) announced today it has added Alan Tracey to its board of directors.

Mr. Tracey was a senior executive and Technical Director for Digicel Telecom and was in charge of the implementation of the GSM SS, BSS, PDH and VANS network on Ericsson, Nera and Redknee equipment. Mr. Tracey has worked in telecommunications for more than 10 years in countries as diverse as Congo, the Dutch Caribbean, China and many more. During his career, which spans the evolution from PSTN, to ISDN, to GSM / GPRS, Mr. Tracey has experience at all levels of the industry including Technical Engineering, Project Management, and General Management of Networks.



Steve Lipman, President of Y-Tel stated, "We are looking forward to expanding our telecommunication relationships and distribution channels throughout the territories which Mr. Tracey has been directly involved. He will be highly instrumental in the worldwide distribution of the Company's new Wi-Fi Phone, as well as bringing his years in carrier services with Colt Telecom, and Interoute, to bear in existing Y-Tel projects."

In 2002, Mr. Tracey was the lead technician for Ericsson US on the Cingular project and was responsible for the GSM-overlay system. His vast knowledge and experience encompasses the entire technology of GSM, (BSC's, MSC/HLR/VLR/AUC, Ericsson IN-Prepaid systems (PPL and PPS) on SSF/SCF, on SDP and IVR, and on MoIP Voicemail). Additionally, Mr. Tracey has implemented over 50 SS7 and VoIP interconnects around the world and offers experience with many Regulatory issues.



In his previous position as Technical Director of Dutch Caribbean, he created business analysis tools by setting up Switch and OSS statistics, interfacing to data warehousing via Excel ODBC and Business objects, and data-mining the results. He then coordinated the data results with Sales and Marketing to design pricing, promotions and various products offerings.

Mr. Tracey offers experience in Network Operations, Design and Roll-Out, with key emphasis on end-to-end Customer understanding.

Mr Lipman commented, "Mr. Tracey is a valuable addition to the Board and his insight will be utilized at all levels of the organization. His contribution will help take Y-Tel to the next level."
