Five Star Quality Care Implements More Than 60 Facilities on Achieve Matrix(R)EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. --(Business Wire)-- Sept. 29, 2005 -- Achieve Healthcare Technologies(TM) (www.achievehealthcare.com) today announced that it implemented Achieve Matrix in 59 Five Star Quality Care Inc. facilities starting in October 2004. Beginning in October 2004, Achieve commenced the planning, system configuration and data conversions of 59 assisted living facilities, which started actively using the accounts receivable component of Matrix on Dec. 1, 2004. Since then, FVE implemented 25 additional facilities on Matrix. The components that FVE implemented include admissions and census, accounts receivable, ancillary interface and general ledger export functionalities. "Achieve was instrumental in the development and implementation of the accounts receivable/billing and clinical information systems used at Five Star," said Jonathan Hood, director of IT for FVE. "One of Achieve's systems, Achieve Matrix, was implemented in more than 60 of Five Star's long-term care communities.
