Entellium Named CRM Market Leader in Sales Force Automation by CRM Magazine; Prestigious Award Comes on the Heels of Key Customer Wins and Industry Recognition
SEATTLE --(Business Wire)-- Sept. 27, 2005 -- Entellium (http://www.entellium.com) has been named a CRM Market Leader by the distinguished industry publication CRM Magazine. The company was selected as a Leader based on its revenue growth, market share, reputation for customer satisfaction, depth of functionality, and company direction.
"Our focus on improving the productivity and daily lives of individual sales professionals is a real passion because we believe that by making their sales people more successful, our customers will be more successful," said Paul Johnston, President and CEO of Entellium. "It's an honor to be recognized by the industry experts at CRM Magazine for our leadership and focus in this area, and we look forward to bringing more innovation to the CRM industry."
The award comes days after Entellium announced one of the largest hosted CRM deals in the industry's history -- a 5,000 seat deployment with Allied Home Mortgage Capital Corporation, the nation's largest privately-held mortgage company, for its sales associates in 600 offices nationwide.
CRM Magazine recognized Entellium's tremendous growth in the past year and ranked the company highest in the sales force automation category for "reputation for customer satisfaction." The magazine also quoted analyst Janet White of Info-Tech Research Group as saying Entellium's product has "good filtered reporting, and is very customizable." She also gave the company "good marks for the low customer price."
Entellium develops CRM applications that are focused on making the daily lives of sales, service and marketing employees easier, with advanced automation features not found in any other hosted CRM solution. Their application includes many industry-first automation capabilities for a number of tasks that are still manual in other solutions. For example, Entellium's Report Automator(TM) lets users configure any report so that it is automatically generated and distributed at certain dates and times -- or in specified intervals -- in HTML or Excel format with up-to-the-minute customer data, enabling managers to focus on analyzing the reports, not running them.
In August, Entellium received top scores for usability, customer service and price in a head-to-head review by the venerable Network Computing Magazine, which reviewed six top hosted CRM providers. In this review, Entellium's $59 PRO-Activity Release landed in a virtual tie with Salesforce.com's (NYSE:CRM) $125 Enterprise Edition. Earlier this year, the company received top scores from Forrester Research, a leading analyst firm, in usability and cost in the 2005 Forrester Wave report: Hosted Sales Force Automation(1). Entellium also received a perfect 5.0 score for its free global support which includes live training and 24/7 live chat over the web.
