Entriq and IAMobile Partner to Deliver Mobile Video Content to Subscribers across Australia

SAN FRANCISCO --(Business Wire)-- Sept. 27, 2005 -- IAMobile to Use Entriq's MediaSphere for Publishing, Syndication and Secure Delivery of Mobile Video Content

Entriq, a company that provides all-in-one pay media solutions to manage, protect, monetize and deliver multimedia content to broadband, mobile and IPTV devices worldwide, today announced at CTIA Wireless Entertainment & I.T., a strategic partnership with IAMobile, a leading Australian-based provider of mobile entertainment products and services, including TruTones, ringtones, graphics and games. Through the agreement, IAMobile will use Entriq's MediaSphere platform to manage, protect, monetize and deliver high-quality mobile video across all network operators throughout Australia.

According to industry analysts, the mobile video market is estimated to be a $200 million industry today and will grow to more than $27 billion by the end of the decade. IAMobile will launch mobile video streaming and download services across Australia in October, and has turned to Entriq to ensure the delivery of transcoded mobile video content with the highest level of DRM possible, and in turn, mapping the content to compatible devices. The initial IAMobile video offering will consist of Classic Comedy content, and will later expand to include music and sports.

"After exploring different solutions, we chose to partner with Entriq because their MediaSphere product gives us everything we need with one solution in order to deliver mobile video content throughout Australia," said Hilton Rosenthal at IAMobile. "MediaSphere impressed us because of its easy implementation and ability to handle mobile content publishing, syndication to the right devices and DRM, which is exactly what we need for our new mobile video applications."

Entriq's MediaSphere fits well with IAMobile's applications for mobile video in that it enables IAMobile to detect 2.5G versus 3G subscribers to deliver a high quality experience. Additionally, MediaSphere allows IAMobile to simply drag and drop video content into the Entriq platform, which automatically publishes, dynamically transcodes and wraps in the highest level of OMA and Windows Media Player 10 DRM available. The content is then ready for publication into IAMobile applications and is appropriately formatted to all popular mobile phones across every major wireless network.

"We are very excited that IAMobile chose to use MediaSphere, as the product was designed with this exact implementation in mind -- allowing service providers the ability to simply drag, drop and sell content quickly and securely, making media content available for purchase through the mobile channel," said Scott Crowder, chief operating officer at Entriq. "Mobile video is an explosive trend, and through our partnership with IAMobile, subscribers throughout Australia will have access to compelling mobile video content."

Through its MediaSphere platform, Entriq provides all-in-one solutions that make it easy for content providers and aggregators to manage, protect, monetize and deliver multimedia content to broadband, mobile and IPTV consumers with the most advanced content protection and pay media technologies available. MediaSphere provides flexible commerce solutions and subscription models for content syndication, along with powerful and comprehensive reporting and tracking capabilities.
