mPhase Technologies Approved for Membership in Internet TV Body; Alliance for Telecommunications Industry Solutions (ATIS) Sets StandardizationLITTLE FALLS, N.J. --(Business Wire)-- Sept. 23, 2005 -- As an indication of its commitment to open systems in interactive television services offered through telephone networks, mPhase Technologies (OTC: XDSL) today announced its acceptance into membership by the Alliance for Telecommunications Industry Solutions (ATIS). Under an ATIS initiative to establish Internet Procotol TV (IPTV) standardization, the IPTV Interoperability Forum (IIF) has created a series of four task forces charged with removing obstacles that may impede the adoption of the technology.
