KMWorld & Intranets 2005 Continues as North America's Largest Conference on Knowledge Management, Content Management, and Intranets

MEDFORD, N.J. --(Business Wire)-- Sept. 16, 2005 -- Based on early registration numbers and the high level of current interest in the field, the organizers of KMWorld & Intranets 2005 (November 15-17, San Jose, Calif.) are projecting that 2005 conference attendance figures will reach an all-time high.

KMWorld & Intranets 2005 will be held at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center. Business managers from all over the globe are expected to attend to learn how to improve business processes and decision-making using knowledge management, content management, and enterprise search technologies.

"We are seeing a sharp rise in interest in knowledge management and intranets, due largely to growth in the enterprise search, business intelligence, and taxonomy sectors over the past year or two," said Tom Hogan Sr., president of Information Today, Inc. "Companies now realize the potential impact on business productivity, and this conference offers practical advice that will help executives and managers accelerate revenue growth and drive profitability."

A special feature of KMWorld & Intranets 2005 is a shared, 3-day Content Management track, since understanding content management issues and options is key for knowledge management professionals, as well as for intranet and portal managers.

Companies exhibiting at KMWorld & Intranets 2005 represent the major solutions providers in the industry. Exhibitors and sponsors include Access Innovations/Data Harmony, Autonomy, CalAmp Solutions, Coemergence, Cynefin N.A., Dieselpoint, Ektron, Elsevier, Endeca, Entopia, Fast Search & Transfer, Intellext, Intelligenxia, Interwoven, Inxight, iQuest Analytics, ISYS Search Software, Lockheed Martin, New Idea Engineering, Inc., PaperThin, Proof of Value Network, SafeHarbor Technology Corp., Siderian Software, Siegel & Gale, SLA (Special Libraries Association), SocialText, Stellent, Teragram, Vivisimo, and X1 Technologies.

A Gold Pass Registration ($1,295) includes full access to KMWorld 2005, the shared Content Management track, and Intranets 2005, as well as admission to the Exhibit Hall.

Attendees may also register separately for either the KMWorld or Intranets conference, both of which include the Content Management track. To register go to www.kmworld.com/kmw05/Registration.cfm or call 800-300-9868 or 609-654-6266
