Defense Technology Systems, Inc. Announces 100 Country RFID Summit in Vienna Austria Scheduled for July 2005; Summit to Provide RFID Overview for Senior Military, Government and Commercial Decision Makers

DALLAS --(Business Wire)-- May 26, 2005 -- Defense Technology Systems, Inc. (OTCBB:DFTS) today announced a 100 Country RFID Summit in Vienna, Austria to be held in the first week of July. The summit will be hosted by DCI. Defense Technology acquired a majority interest in DCI early this year as part of an overall strategy to redirect and revitalize the Company. DCI will host the Summit in collaboration with a major marketing partner. This is the third international RFID Summit that DCI has hosted in conjunction with the same marketing partner. The summit is intended to provide an RFID overview for senior decision makers working in Government, Military, and Commercial Industries. The recently announced "RFID Foundry" product to be released by Defense Technology through DCI in the third quarter will be previewed at the Summit.
