Universal Express and MyMailEmail Announce Agreement For Mail Delivery Notification Service
NEW YORK --(Business Wire)-- May 9, 2005 -- Universal Express Inc. (OTCBB: USXP), announced today that its subsidiary UniversalPost has formed a partnership with MyMailEmail, a mail delivery notification service.
MyMailEmail is an easy to use software mail box system that allows the postal store to quickly e-mail box holders when they have mail. These messages can also be customized to alert customers about special deliveries, to promote services, or to introduce new products.
"Some postal stores have always been at the mercy of mid-day mail delivery, and now mail box holders can receive an e-mail when mail has arrived. This service offered through the UniversalPost Network brings the postal stores into new technology and should bring customer satisfaction to the next level," stated Lauren Jackson Director of UniversalPost.
"MyMailEmail benefits box holder customers because it allows them to avoid having to make a trip to check their mail only to find they don't have any. It's also a super way for mail and parcel centers to let their customers know about new products or special promotions, and to set their business apart from competitors," stated Bob Laloggia of MyMailEMail.
"With each new strategic relationship and each cutting edge product, we continue to enhance our UniversalPost Postal Association and its list of services.
