In this role, Tran will lead the team that supports the development of applications and user interfaces that comprise the back-office portion of the IMAKE OpenVision product suite. OpenVision is an end-to-end Video On Demand (VOD) solution supporting more than 20 million users nationwide. The solution is made up of software components that ensure the seamless delivery, management and billing of VOD and Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) content. Before this most recent promotion, Tran held the position of director of technology. Since joining IMAKE in 1995, Tran served in various analytical roles, and was one of the early architects behind IMAKE's e.merge Video On Demand platform, the forerunner of today's OpenVision solution. Tran's extensive professional expertise includes java development, Video On Demand software design and development, and systems architecture and design.
