Sitestar Post Profitable Year for 2004

LYNCHBURG, Va. --(Business Wire)-- March 28, 2005 -- Sitestar Corporation (OTCBB: SYTE), an Internet Service Provider (ISP) and computer services company, today announced that the first ever year end profits were posted for the year ending December 31, 2004. The Company earned a net profit of $82,920 compared to a net loss of $284,414 in 2003 and a net loss of $2,065,442 in 2002. These results are largely due to management's tighter fiscal controls over operations and more favorable telecom contracts.

In 2004, we finally got a good handle on our operations costs, eliminated our higher priced debt, made some acquisitions and turned our company profitable. In addition to increasing profits in 2004, Sitestar also increased EBITDA (Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation and Amortization) over 70 percent from $453,826 for the year ended in 2003 to $773,648 for the year ended in 2004. EBITDA is a commonly used for evaluating a company's operating profitability before non-operating expenses. Income from Operations increased over 44 percent from 2003 to $316,974 in 2004.
