Motorola Announces Development of Canopy(TM) WiMAX Platform for International MarketsNEW ORLEANS, March 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- CTIA -- Motorola, Inc. used the CTIA exhibition and trade show as the backdrop this week to announce the development of its Canopy WiMAX platform for the licensed 3.5 GigaHertz band, which is available worldwide outside the United States. Planned for general availability in early 2006, the platform includes infrastructure, indoor and outdoor customer premise equipment (CPE) and various management components.
