BELLEVUE, Wash. --(Business Wire)-- June 7, 2005 -- InfoSpace, Inc. (Nasdaq:INSP), a leading provider of mobile entertainment, today announced it has joined with Amp'd Mobile to create a dedicated "Games for Prizes" channel on Amp'd wireless handsets. The agreement will give Amp'd Mobile customers access to InfoSpace's leading "For Prizes Network" of popular tournament mobile games, including Hold'em Poker+ for Prizes(TM), Solitaire for Prizes(TM) and Prize-21 for Prizes(TM).



Amp'd Mobile, launching later this year, will deliver cutting-edge mobile entertainment with an irreverent style and attitude designed specifically for 3G to the youth (18-35) market. Some of the unique Amp'd content will include a variety of music, lifestyle, entertainment, sports and gaming, in addition to traditional wireless services.

InfoSpace's "For Prizes Network" line of games is an interactive mobile tournament service where players compete with other mobile users for great prizes such as CDs, DVDs and gift cards. More than two million multiplayer tournament games are played each month on the "For Prizes Network". To tap in to users' love of competitive mobile games, Amp'd Mobile and InfoSpace are defining a special prize section within Amp'd Mobile's proprietary user interface, under which InfoSpace and its publishing partners will provide their for-prizes games.

The current suite of InfoSpace "For Prizes" titles include: Hold'em Poker+ for Prizes(TM), Solitaire for Prizes(TM), Prize-21 for Prizes, QBz for Prizes(TM) and Switchix for Prizes(TM). Superscape's AMF Xtreme Bowling for Prizes(TM) and First Star Software's Boulder Dash(R) Tournaments for Prizes(TM) will also be included in Amp'd Mobile's "Games For Prizes" channel.
