Air Broadband and Samsung Cooperate in WLAN Switch Development
SAN JOSE, Calif. --(Business Wire)-- June 7, 2005 -- Air Broadband Communications, Inc. announces a cooperation agreement with Samsung Electronics Corporations, Ltd. regarding WLAN switch development for Samsung's OfficeServ Series IP PBX product line.
Air Broadband has been developing the Airobatics(R) WLAN switch, PiMAX(TM) Access Control Router and the AWACS advanced wireless network management system for several years. "This is an extremely innovative approach to capture wireless VoIP market for WLAN switch product since IP PBX product already dominates enterprise VoIP market, and we expect it to lead the mass WLAN deployment in 2005 and 2006," says Kenneth Kang, president of Air Broadband.
