NEW YORK --(Business Wire)-- Jan. 10, 2005 -- Medis Technologies Ltd. (NASDAQ: MDTL) ("Medis") today announced its plans to present at several upcoming conferences and provide demonstrations of its fully operational Power Pack fuel cell products in the coming months.

Mr. Lifton will make a corporate presentation at the Seventh Annual Needham Growth Conference at 11:30 a.m. Eastern Time on Friday, January 14, 2005 where he will discuss Medis program to market its Power Pack products- commercial and military. This presentation will be webcast and can be accessed through Medis' website at www.medistechnologies.com.

February - April, 2005 - United States, England, France, Germany

Kensington/Acco Brands will present the fully operational Medis commercial Power Pack products to their customers as well as Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). Jacob Weiss, Senior Vice President Business Development and Michell Rush, Vice President, Marketing will present fully operational Medis Power Pack products to Mobile Operators and OEM's. They will be joined, from time to time by Gennadi Finkelshtain, Medis Technologies' Chief Technology Officer and General Manager of More Energy Ltd., Medis' fuel cell development subsidiary.

March 16, 2005 -New York, New York

Mr. Lifton together with Mr. Finkelshtain will present Medis Technologies fully operational commercial and military power packs. The presentation will include a discussion of the unique Medis technology and Medis commercialization program, including sales and manufacturing plans, to shareholders, members of the investment community, media representatives and other interested parties. The location for this presentation will be announced.

April 27-29, 2005 - Washington DC

General Dynamics C4 Systems will exhibit the Medis fuel cell Power Packs at a booth at the 7th Annual Small Fuel Cells Conference at the Loews L'Enfant Plaza Hotel, Washington, DC. Representatives of C4 Systems will be available to discuss their plans for Medis fuel cell products. Mr. Finkelshtain will describe the unique elements of Medis fuel cell technology and the Power Pack products at the conference.
