MANUAL PROVISIONING OF FIBER-TO-THE-PREMISE SERVICES

NORCROSS, GA � February 15, 2005 � Guadalupe Valley Telecommunications Cooperative (GVTC) (www.gvtc.com), the largest telephone cooperative in Texas, has selected ETI Software Solutions, Inc.�s Triad to automate provisioning of its Fiber-to-the-Premise (FTTP) network for the delivery of voice video and data services. ETI (www.etisoftware.com) is a leading developer of software automating FTTP and video service activation for video, telephone and data services.
GVTC serves more than 30,000 customers in the state of Texas, offering a diverse range of products including advanced telephone, Internet access, cable television, security systems and monitoring, long distance calling plans, voice mail products, custom calling features and more. As a one-stop shop, GVTC is able to provide all of its customers� communication services on one bill for ease and convenience.
GVTC initially selected ETI�s Triad because of the platform�s unique ability to eliminate manual provisioning for services delivered over its FTTP network. In the near future, GVTC has plans to expand Triad�s footprint by automating the service activation of other telecommunications and video services.

Triad provides �out-of-the-box� functionality to automate the complex provisioning processes for both active and passive FTTP technologies from a variety of vendors. Able to activate all service ports on the Optical Network Terminal (�ONT�), the termination point of the FTTP network at the customer�s service location, it is also able to automatically set the bandwidth (i.e., Quality of Service) for a given port so that it matches the service level requested by the customer allowing providers to offer differentiated services at varying price points. Triad also supports the automatic discovery of new ONTs on the FTTP network and can automatically provision these auto-discovered devices in real-time. Since Triad also provisions video set�top boxes (RF or IP) and other �CPE� devices like its predecessor CableBridgeTM, it eliminates multiple data entry points and the service errors and delays associated with �swivel chair� processes.
