Mocana Announces Embedded SSH and RADIUS Clients; Best-in Class Solutions for Embedded Device Security to Authenticate and Authorize Access to Voice, Video and Data
MENLO PARK, Calif. --(Business Wire)-- Feb. 15, 2005 -- Mocana Corporation, developer of low-latency security solutions for voice, video and data networks, today announced the addition of Embedded SSH and RADIUS Clients to the Embedded Security Suite. Mocana Embedded SSH Client

Mocana RADIUS Client
The Mocana RADIUS Client implements a client/server mechanism that enables devices to communicate with a central server to authenticate users and authorize their access to the requested system or service. Being able to centralize authentication and administration is especially attractive for embedded devices that need to verify user credentials and authorize users, without having to maintain and administer a database of sensitive user information.
When used in conjunction with protocols that secure the network path, such as Mocana SSH, Mocana RADIUS Client provides a powerful, yet simple mechanism to authenticate and authorize access to voice, video and data network equipment and network services.
