NetCharge Announces Jerry Auriemma as President and COOPARSIPPANY, N.J. --(Business Wire)-- Aug. 18, 2005 -- Unbeknownst to Jerry Auriemma, he was actually a customer of NetCharge Payment Solutions long before he became its president and chief operating officer. An active member of Our Lady of Lourdes liturgical ministry, Auriemma used NetCharge - a leader in online payment transactions - to donate money to the New Jersey, Diocese of Metuchen. A few years later, Auriemma is at the helm of NetCharge and says he is thrilled to be leading a company that makes donating and bill paying easier and more efficient for client organizations and their constituents. As a user, Auriemma says his experience was simple and convenient, "I went online, I didn't have to write a check and was sent an automated receipt, all within minutes. I'm a walking testimonial," says Auriemma, who joined the company in June. "I really believe in the product and look forward to helping NetCharge inform clients of how it can benefit their organizations. NetCharge provides online payment solutions for non-profit organizations, educational institutions and small businesses. NetCharge works with these groups to customize and manage payment plans that increase revenues and improve customer satisfaction. "Our primary goal at NetCharge is to help organizations improve their bottom line," says Auriemma. "And the way we do that is by being customer focused and by providing state-of-the-art online transaction capabilities." As President and COO, Auriemma is responsible for all strategy, planning, and policy decisions for the on-going operations of NetCharge Payment Solutions. With more than 25 years of marketing experience with industry giants such as AT&T, Auriemma is no stranger to taking little known products and turning them into household names and that's exactly what he's planning to do with NetCharge. At AT&T, Auriemma was responsible for launching and growing several multi-billion dollar businesses, including Consumer bundled voice and data services and the AT&T Calling Card. "Auriemma's extensive marketing expertise and general management skills are just what NetCharge needed," says NetCharge Chairman, Rich Casey. "We are honored to have Jerry join the NetCharge team and excited about where he is going to take the organization." Auriemma holds an MBA in Marketing from Baruch College of The City University of New York and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science/Communications from Queens College. He was selected for and completed the Strategic Marketing Management Program at Harvard University and the Advanced Management Program at Duke University.
