BOCA RATON, Fla. --(Business Wire)-- Aug. 16, 2005 -- Former Microsoft Senior Director of Strategic Partner Management to Steer Continued Growth at OpenPeak

OpenPeak Inc., a leading provider of software-based solutions for controlling digital content, consumer electronics, and systems in the Digital Home, today announced that it named Andy Aiello as Vice President, Business Development. Aiello, a 16-year veteran of the technology and telecommunications industry, assumes the leadership role of developing new business opportunities and strategic partnerships for OpenPeak. He brings significant senior management experience with leading technology and telecommunications companies and has expertise in service provider operations, markets and strategies for growth in the Digital Home and VoIP arenas.

Prior to joining OpenPeak, Aiello served as Senior Director of Strategic Partner Management at Microsoft where he specialized in building strategic partnerships within the Communications and Mobile and Embedded Device offerings, a multibillion dollar solution and sales organization serving the needs of the world's largest service providers as well as networking, media and entertainment companies. He led the growth of Microsoft's system integrator relationships and developed the program for IPTV server solutions sales for large carriers.

Previously, Aiello was part of the management team of Cap Gemini, Ernst & Young's Telecommunications, Media, and Networks industry practice where he specialized in Business Support System/Operations Support System for high-growth clients. Before CGE&Y, Aiello was a member of the Communication & High Technology practice at Accenture, specializing in technical architecture for service providers. At Accenture, he led numerous strategy, systems, analysis, integration, and deployment projects (spanning web and call center based customer care, billing, provisioning, service assurance, and network management) for a range of telecommunications providers.
