Brightpoint Enters Into an Agreement With Motorola to Distribute Voice Terminal Products

PLAINFIELD, Ind. --(Business Wire)-- Aug. 9, 2005 -- Brightpoint, Inc. (NASDAQ:CELL) announced today that its subsidiary, Brightpoint North America L.P. ("Brightpoint") and the Connected Home Solutions business of Motorola, Inc. (NYSE:MOT) ("Motorola") have entered into an agreement whereby Brightpoint will distribute Motorola VT1000 Broadband Voice Gateways. Brightpoint will initially focus on promoting Motorola's Voice Terminal products in support of the Vonage Master Agent program previously announced.
