Identix Receives Purchase Orders Valued at More Than $600,000 from Pennsylvania Agencies
MINNETONKA, Minn. --(Business Wire)-- April 5, 2005 -- Agencies Place New Orders under Previously Announced Statewide BPA with Identix to Upgrade State's Live Scan Network to Latest Full Hand Live Scan Systems
Identix Incorporated (Nasdaq:IDNX), the world's leading multi-biometrics security technology company, announced that it has received new purchase orders from the Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) for Identix'(R) TouchPrint(TM) 3800 Full-Hand Enhanced Definition Live Scan Systems. These systems are for deployment to select State Police agencies across the State to replace the agencies' legacy live scan systems with the latest in Identix' technology. The purchase orders, which have an aggregate value of more than $600,000, were placed under an option clause for additional purchases in PSP's previous purchase order for TouchPrint 3800 Live Scan Systems. Including these orders, Pennsylvania agencies have placed orders with an aggregate value in excess of $3.5 million for Identix' line of live scan systems over the past eight months.
