BALTIMORE --(Business Wire)-- April 3, 2005 -- The Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) announced today that its more than 26,000 members will have access to innovative web-based software beginning in the second quarter of 2005. Kintera(r), Inc. (NASDAQ:KNTA) will begin deploying the latest Internet technology and enhanced online tools to more than 170 AFP chapters throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico and East Asia.

-- New websites and web hosting -- Chapters can choose to create a new website by selecting a model that AFP and Kintera are jointly developing. All website hosting in this program will be included for participating chapters.

-- Access to secure online transaction services for events registration and other eCommerce functions -- AFP will cover all of the typical set-up costs and ongoing monthly or annual fees for its chapters. (The chapters will only pay the customary small transaction fees.)

-- State-of the-art email broadcasting platform -- The Kintera Sphere(tm) software platform will enable chapters to send mass emails in multiple formats, utilize the most advanced systems, avoid spam filters and access detailed email reporting features.
