Time Warner Cable Launches Videoconferencing Initiative with Viseon's VisiFone

DALLAS --(Business Wire)-- Sept. 28, 2004 -- Viseon, Inc. (OTCBB:VSNI), a global developer of broadband personal video communications solutions, today announced that Time Warner Cable of Northeast Ohio has chosen to utilize the Viseon VisiFone(TM) in its VidiFone Eye-to-Eye videoconferencing service, a new value-added service for its Road Runner Business Class broadband Internet customers. This new product offering expands the possibilities of high-speed Internet connections to include videoconferencing at a fraction of the cost of large videoconferencing systems.

Time Warner Cable's Road Runner Business Class is a full suite of broadband solutions enabling businesses to capitalize on the potential of the Internet by turning a necessary communications medium into a strategic business tool. "We see tremendous opportunity for the VidiFone Eye-to-Eye Teleconferencing service as a valuable time and money-saving tool for our growing list of Road Runner Business Class customers," said John Guran, vice president, Commercial Services and High Speed Data at Time Warner Cable of Northeast Ohio. "Just as we led with Road Runner Business Class service when it was first launched, this new offering will represent the most significant scalable videoconferencing effort to date," Mr. Guran stated.

John Harris, chairman and CEO of Viseon, commented, "Time Warner Cable is known for its leadership role in providing the most innovative products and services for its customers. We are honored to have Time Warner Cable as our first cable MSO marketing partner for the VisiFone."

As Time Warner Cable has continued to increase the amount of bandwidth available to Road Runner Business Class customers, value-added services requiring broadband connectivity, such as remote teleworker packages, wireless networking solutions and, now, videoconferencing services, have become a reality. "I believe that small and large business customers alike will see using the VidiFone Eye-to-Eye videoconferencing service as a logical and affordable way to supplant expensive business travel and voice-only communication with full, two-way interactive video communication," said Time Warner's Guran.

Time Warner Cable of Northeast Ohio serves customers in 234 communities in northeast Ohio and western Pennsylvania. It is a division of Time Warner Cable, Inc., which owns and manages cable systems serving 10.9 million subscribers in 27 states, including some of the most technologically advanced, best clustered cable systems in the country.
