Highly Touted Granite Links Golf Club Selects GPS Industries' Inforemer; John Sanford Designed Golf Club to Install the Inforemer Golf Business Solution

VANCOUVER, British Columbia --(Business Wire)-- Sept. 8, 2004 -- GPS Industries Inc. (GPSI) (OTCBB:GPSN) (Germany: Frankfurt WKN#: 252179), a leading developer and provider of global positioning system (GPS) and Wi-Fi wireless business solutions for golf courses, golf residential communities and golf resorts, today announced that John Sanford designed Granite Links Golf Club in Quincy, Massachusetts selected the Inforemer(TM) GPS golf business solution.

Granite Links Golf Club at Quarry Hills, situated only minutes from downtown Boston, is arguably located in the most spectacular and strategic location in the United States. The course spans 450 acres with a stunning panoramic view of the Boston skyline and seacoast. Eighteen holes recently opened, with 27 holes expected for the beginning of 2005.

"As we expand our new facility, we are very excited to have GPS industries join our team to solidify our semi-private club as one of the premier clubs in New England," comments Chris Sleeper, Manager and Head PGA Professional at Granite Links. "We selected the Inforemer because it is the most technologically advanced system in the marketplace with the ability to set up wireless Hot Spots, and offers the personal endorsement of Greg Norman."

GPSI continues to be selected over competitors by premier golf clubs, such as Granite Links. "Granite Links is a highly anticipated new course and has already been nominated as one of the Top 10 new courses in the United States by Golf Digest magazine," comments Blake Ponuick, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for GPSI. "We are pleased that our advanced technology, such as our specially engineered power management features for gas powered carts, is attracting more and more highly regarded golf clubs."

Granite Links will install the Inforemer's full management system and equip all 72 of its gas powered golf cart fleet with the Inforemer's 10.4" color cart-mounted GPS units. Granite Links expects to increase the total number of units to 100 in 2005. For more information on Granite Links, see www.granitelinksgolfclub.com.
