Metalink Reports President Leaving to Pursue Other Business Opportunities

YAKUM, Israel, Oct. 26 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Metalink Ltd. , a global provider and developer of high performance wireline and wireless broadband communication silicon solutions, today announced that Mr. J. Francois Crepin will cease to serve as the Company's President and Member of the Office of the CEO.

Mr. Crepin, who has served as President for five years, decided to leave the Company as of February 2005, to pursue other business opportunities. Until February 2005, Mr. Crepin will continue to support the Company as an advisor to the CEO.
