Ceon Continues Momentum With Hiring of New President

REDWOOD CITY, California, November 16 /PRNewswire/ --

- Ceon Announces Craig Olsen, Seasoned Executive From the Broadband
Industry, as New President to Head up Customer-Facing Organizations

Ceon Corporation, the fast-emerging leader of tier one broadband
provisioning solutions, announced today Craig Olsen as its President. Olsen
will oversee and manage all customer-facing organizations including sales,
marketing, and customer solutions (customer support and professional
services). He will report to Peter Burke, CEO of Ceon.

"Ceon's success in winning broadband provisioning contracts from five of
the top ten Cable MSOs has recently crossed over into Telecom, with the last
two contracts being from tier one Telcos," said Burke. "With this kind of
momentum, we needed to put in place an experienced broadband executive who
could help us manage all of our customer-facing operations. We are excited to
have found this ability in Craig Olsen and look forward to his contributions
to ensuring customer satisfaction and continued growth."

Mr. Olsen has over 20 years of operations and sales leadership experience
working in companies targeting the Global 1000. Notable successes include:
President of Valista Inc, the world's leader in payment software for
electronic and mobile commerce; Chief Operating Officer of iPIN, a provider
of e-commerce solutions to Telco's, MNO's and MSO's; Senior Vice President of
International Operations at Niku, a market leader in enterprise portfolio
management software; Senior Vice President of Sales at Teligent, a seller of
broadband services to business customers and communications carriers; and
Vice President and General Manager of MCI Worldcom's Integrated
Communications Services Division, a leading provider of integrated hardware,
software, IT solutions and data services to Fortune 500 companies.

"The first phase of our company was building the kind of product that
tier one companies would prefer," said John Tingleff, CFO of Ceon. "We
believe we have achieved that. The second phase is building the
customer-facing side of our company so that we're the preferred company to
work with. Craig Olsen is a seasoned veteran who has built world class sales,
marketing and services organizations and we are confident he will add
significant value to Ceon".

About Ceon

Ceon Corporation is the preferred choice of tier one Cable MSOs, both
domestically and internationally, for the provisioning of IP-based broadband
services. It is also the fast-emerging leader amongst tier one Telcos for the
order management and service activation of VoIP services. Leveraging its many
years of experience in developing multi-service solutions for U.S. RBOCs,
Ceon was the first to market with an advanced, second generation OSS platform
for IP-based voice, data, and video services. Ceon's platform stands alone in
its ability to scale from second- and third-tier Telcos and MSOs to large
tier one deployments due to its open, standards-based distributed
architecture. Because the interface to both billing software and network
elements is done through adapters, Ceon's Integration and Provisioning
Suite(TM) is ideal for the provisioning of multiple IP services across a
single platform. This drastically reduces the time, cost, and resources
needed to manage the orders and service activation of multiple services to a
common customer. Ceon is headquartered in Redwood City, California, and has
regional sales offices in North America and Europe.
