Intellisync(R) Software Now Available to Synchronize T-Mobile(R) Sidekick(TM) Devices

SAN JOSE, Calif., Nov. 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Intellisync Corporation , a leading developer and marketer of wireless software solutions for the worldwide mobile communications industry, today announced that its award-winning synchronization technology is now available to T-Mobile(R) Sidekick(TM) customers. The synchronization software will be available for the T-Mobile(R) Sidekick II(TM) and previous Sidekick(TM) generations, which are based on Danger, Inc.'s hiptop(R) Wireless Solution.

Intellisync's technology enables one-click, "over-the-air" synchronization of calendars, contacts and tasks between Microsoft Outlook personal information management (PIM) software without the use of cables or cradles. The Intellisync(R) software is available via download from the "My T-Mobile" page on http://www.t-mobile.com/.
"Intellisync's technology further enhances the functionality of an already great communicator," said Todd Achilles, director of phones and devices for T- Mobile USA, Inc. "Intellisync's proven track record in synchronizing Outlook with many device platforms was the primary factor in our selection of Intellisync as the synchronization provider for our enthusiastic Sidekick(TM) customers."
Four other mobile carriers are offering Intellisync's solution to provide synchronization of Microsoft Outlook with Danger hiptop-based devices: Triton PCS (operating under the SunCom brand in the Southeastern United States), Cable & Wireless in the Caribbean, E-Plus in Germany and ONE in Austria. Later this year, Danger is expected to announce additional mobile carriers that will offer Intellisync software for download.
"T-Mobile's adoption of Danger's hiptop(R) Wireless Solution for the popular Sidekick(TM) is further evidence that we are providing mobile carriers with the most robust, easy-to-implement mobile data technology on the market today," said Hank Nothhaft, chairman and CEO of Danger, Inc. "The Intellisync mobility platform is a critical component of the unique value proposition that we're able to offer mobile carriers."
In recent months, Intellisync has received several of the mobility industry's most prestigious technology awards, and has been heralded by research analysts covering the mobility infrastructure market for synchronization, wireless email and device management. As many mobile carriers begin to implement email and PIM synchronization as a means of gaining competitive advantage, they are turning to the Intellisync platform.
"This announcement with T-Mobile underscores how important we believe the Intellisync solution is becoming in the mobile carrier market," said Clyde Foster, Intellisync's chief operating officer. "We're delighted to be the solution selected by both Danger and T-Mobile to synchronize the popular Sidekick II(TM) device with Microsoft Outlook software.
