Black Hills Corporation Declares Dividend
RAPID CITY, S.D., Nov. 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- At a meeting held today, the Board of Directors of Black Hills Corporation declared quarterly dividends on the common and preferred stock.
Common shareholders will receive 31 cents per share, equivalent to an annual dividend rate of $1.24. Preferred shareholders, whose holdings are related to a Company acquisition, will receive $11.35 per share, an amount which represents 1 percent per annum computed on the basis of $1,000 per share plus a common stock dividend equivalence. Dividends will be payable December 1, 2004, to all shareholders of record at the close of business on November 17, 2004.
As previously announced, the Company will issue an earnings news release and its SEC Form 10-Q for third quarter 2004 on Tuesday, November 9, 2004. In conjunction with these releases, the Company will hold a conference call on Wednesday, November 10, 2004, beginning at 11:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time to discuss financial and operating performance.
