Media International Concepts, Inc. (MEIC) Acquires Opportunity Productions and Begins Public Trading on Pink Sheets
LOS ANGELES, May 26 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Media International Concepts, Inc. (OTC Pink Sheets: MEIC) today announced that it has commenced trading of its stock under the symbol of MEIC. In addition the Company unveiled that it has acquired all the outstanding capital stock of Video 2000 dba Opportunity Productions in an all stock transaction. According to its CEO Michael Marcovsky, a former executive of Walt Disney and Warner Communications, "Opportunity Productions has an extensive history in the production of short and long form television advertisements, as well as corporate seminar and recruiting videos." He further stated that, "Opportunity Productions occupies a specialized niche in the infomercial industry by offering low cost broadcast quality long form infomercial productions."
Robin Seymour, President of Opportunity Productions, speaking while on location in Carlsbad CA, said that, "we are delighted to be part of the MEIC Family. It will enable us to dramatically increase our production capabilities." Opportunity Productions is currently in production for a new client, Alpha Flex with Omega 5E, and in Post production of a 30 minute infomercial with a target on air-date in late June 2004.
