PCTEL to Demonstrate Segue and MAXRAD Wireless Products at NetWorld + Interop 2004
LAS VEGAS --(Business Wire)-- May 10, 2004 -- PCTEL, Inc. (NASDAQ: PCTI) a leading provider of wireless solutions, announced today that it will demonstrate its Segue(TM) wireless mobility products and MAXRAD antennas at the NetWorld + Interop 2004 Networking and Communications Event in Las Vegas, May 11 - 13, Booth 2835.
Segue(TM) Mobility Solutions:
PCTEL will demonstrate the Segue(TM) Roaming Client, the Segue(TM) CCS (Central Configuration Server) and SPI (Service Provider Interface), the Segue(TM) Soft Access Point (AP), and the Segue(TM) Analyzer. Attendees will see first hand how the Segue(TM) Roaming Client software, when downloaded onto a laptop or PDA, enables carriers to manage millions of connected devices over Wi-Fi, or cellular networks. Also featured at the show is the Segue(TM) SoftAP, which, when bundled with a supported Wi-Fi Network Interface Card, will convert any PC into a fully functional access point and router, thereby eliminating the costly need for external devices such as routers and access points. The Segue(TM) Analyzer, an all-in-one handheld device, enables Wi-Fi network engineers and IT managers to measure signal propagation, monitor traffic and detect unwanted interference and intruders in Wi-Fi (802.11) networks.
MAXRAD Product Line:
PCTEL's MAXRAD product group will display select models from its Michelangelo line of aesthetically pleasing in-building wireless voice and data antenna products. The display will include directional and omni-directional antenna models designed to enhance the performance of specific cellular, PCS and Wi-Fi network applications. MAXRAD will also showcase a selection of XtremeWave(TM) and WISPerformance(TM) antennas for broadband wireless access and wireless LAN/WAN applications covering the 2.4 GHz through 5.8 GHz frequencies.
