BladeLogic CEO Receives Entrepreneur of the Year Award from Ernst & Young; Dev Ittycheria Cited As One of New England's Top Entrepreneurs
WALTHAM, Mass. --(Business Wire)-- June 28, 2004 -- BladeLogic, Inc., the leading provider of data center automation software, today announced that its President and CEO, Dev Ittycheria, has been selected as a winner of the prestigious "Entrepreneur of the Year" award by Ernst & Young. The awards program, now in its 18th year, recognizes the best and brightest entrepreneurs whose contributions drive today's economy and tomorrow's opportunities. The selection was announced at the Awards Banquet held on June 24 at the Boston Park Plaza Hotel in Boston, MA.

The criteria for the Realizing Potential award, sponsored by Microsoft, includes the following: less than 100 employees, unique or interesting use of computer technology, owner/founder of business still active, community involvement, must be in business 3 years or more, and proof of strong sales growth.
