Dynetech Corporation Acquires GlobalTec Solutions LLP, a Leading Developer of Financial Analysis Software

ORLANDO, Fla. --(Business Wire)-- June 16, 2004 -- Dynetech Corporation(R):

-- The acquisition of Dallas-based GlobalTec Solutions creates a company with combined annual sales exceeding $200 million, with 445 employees located in Orlando, Dallas, Salt Lake City and Danbury, Conn.

-- GlobalTec is the creator of a line of highly successful financial-analysis software products, including Wizetrade(TM), 4X Made Easy(TM), Options Made Easy(TM) and others.

-- Dynetech becomes one of the nation's largest producers and distributors of financial analysis software.

Dynetech Corporation(R) announced today that it has acquired GlobalTec(TM) Solutions LLP, of Dallas, Texas. GlobalTec is one of the nation's largest producers of financial analysis software products.

GlobalTec's flagship software products - Wizetrade(TM), 4X Made Easy(TM), and Options Made Easy(TM) are designed to assist individual users by giving them real-time trend information about trades taking place in a variety of investment markets. Other GlobalTec products, such as Wizefinder(TM), Options Hunter and Forex Tracker(TM) are search engine products designed to help investors look for opportunities in the stock, options and spot FOREX markets.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed. GlobalTec will continue as a wholly owned subsidiary of Dynetech and GlobalTec's 130 employees will continue to remain based in Dallas, said Laurence J. Pino, Dynetech's founder and CEO.

"This is a strategic acquisition that adds to Dynetech's proprietary suite of products," Pino said. "All of GlobalTec's technology is 100 percent proprietary, giving us a very strong edge in the financial analysis software industry. Moreover, GlobalTec's product delivery platform - one of the strongest in the business - will remain in place to continue developing new products."

Founded in January 2000, GlobalTec is regarded as one of the nation's leading producers of financial analysis software products, with more than 40,000 active users in the United States, Canada, Australia, South Africa and 20 other countries around the world. GlobalTec's mission is to level the field for individual investors by developing user-friendly, state-of-the-art financial analysis programs that give investors information that previously they were unable to get on their own.

For the past three years, GlobalTec has engaged Dynetech in a partner-client relationship to market GlobalTec's products throughout the United States, Canada and selected markets worldwide.

Dynetech is an enterprise-management company that provides sales and logistics support to companies that seek to accelerate their sales processes via direct-to-market distribution channels.

The GlobalTec addition marks the second in Dynetech's strategic acquisition plan for 2004, Pino said. In April, Dynetech acquired Kairos Corporation, of Salt Lake City, Utah, through Dynetech's TechWerks subsidiary. Now operating under the name of TechWerks, the subsidiary is a certified Microsoft(R) Business Solutions provider and creator of the Agora series of software products that integrate seamlessly with Microsoft(R) Great Plains(R) software. The Agora series is a collection of industry-specific uniform business applications used by companies to manage customers, events, subscriber databases and training activities.

Pino also affirmed Dynetech's intention to keep its corporate offices in downtown Orlando. Over the past three years, Dynetech has grown its work force from 55 employees to 320 today. Dynetech's continued growth in the wake of the GlobalTec acquisition will produce new high-tech, high-wage jobs in downtown Orlando, Pino said.

"Downtown Orlando is the ideal location for growing Dynetech," Pino said.

In April 2004, Dynetech was named to Inc. magazine's Inner City 100, recognizing the nation's fastest growing companies in urban business districts. In June, Dynetech was named to Florida Trend magazine's list of the 200 largest privately owned companies in Florida.
