123Id’s Fingerprint Software Developers Kit (FSDK) provides easy to use software components to integrate CVTe-algorithm Technology into any FADT daughter board from Texas Instruments. TI's Fingerprint Authentication Development Tool (FADT) includes the industry's first multi-platform, DSP-based expansion board that can combine with several of TI's DSP starter kits (DSKs).
This flexible and complete development environment for fingerprint authentication enables developers to quickly and inexpensively evaluate and develop systems and products based on TI DSPs.
The CVTe (Code Vector Technology for embedded) has the benefit of being compatible and more important interoperable with the entire set of scanners that TI will release for their FADT product line. The FADT daughter cards will provide live interoperability with the top biometric scanners such as:
- Fingerprint Card
- Authentec
- Ethentica
- ATMEL

123ID is a software solution company; its goal is to be hardware independent from biometric scanners. Texas instruments sophisticated DSP technology has open up a department, where they will configure and create all the drivers to communicate with their DSP board using the most common biometric fingerprint scanners out in the market.
TI at this point has develop Biometric card engines that are able to communicate with five different scanners simultaneously and have plans to create drivers for more sophisticated scanners in the fingerprint technology. As a partner 123id will create the standard software to do the matching algorithm with the entire scanners Ti has selected plus be able to adapt to additional scanners outside TI.
• Non-Operating System Embedded Developers – Standard C source files are provided so developers can compile with the tool set they are accustomed to using.
• Embedded Operating Systems – The FSDK is modular, written under CCS, and contains numerous development examples of using a Texas instruments tools.
