TeleXis Selects Openet to Rate Wholesale Usage under Managed Service Agreement DUBLIN, Ireland & RESTON, Va. --(Business Wire)-- July 21, 2004 -- Managed service provider TeleXis selects FusionWorksTM ActiveRate to rate wholesale traffic and to assist in fraud prevention for significant European operatorOpenet Telecom, a world leader in real-time charging, convergent mediation and rating, today announced the selection of its rating solution, FusionWorks ActiveRate, by Dutch managed services provider TeleXis for use with one of its major European accounts. TeleXis provides managed services to a European operator offering wholesale wireless MVNO services. TeleXis uses FusionWorks ActiveRate to extract MVNO subscriber usage records and send consolidated and rated records to the operator for subsequent billing. As well as recording usage and developing pricing information, FusionWorks ActiveRate will also support Revenue Assurance reporting and fraud management for this operator.
