The new Bluetooth USB adapter makes it easy to set up a personal area network (PAN) that connects up to seven Bluetooth-equipped devices such as wireless phones or PDAs. The EZ Installation Wizard performs the installation automatically, making the PC Bluetooth-capable, so it's ready to communicate with other Bluetooth devices to wirelessly share files, transfer data, print, synchronize your PDA information, send and receive e-mail, browse the Web, and even use a mobile phone to access the Internet. Class 2 Bluetooth-compliant, the new SMC-BT10 communicates at distances of up to 30 feet. And because it supports Bluetooth 1.2, those connections will have less interference, for better performance when connecting with other Bluetooth 1.2 devices.
