Mocana Announces Embedded IPsec/IKE Solution That Fully Supports Hardware Acceleration
MENLO PARK, Calif. --(Business Wire)-- Dec. 15, 2004 -- Embedded Security Suite Now Includes Small Footprint, High Performance Embedded IPsec/IKE Solution for Voice, Video and Data Networks
Mocana Corporation, developer of low-latency security solutions for voice, video and data networks, today announced general availability of Embedded IPsec/IKE, a small footprint, high performance solution to securing networked devices that fully leverages hardware acceleration. Most existing IPsec products are based on open source code and are synchronous. Mocana's Embedded IPsec/IKE implementation is unique, in that it delivers a much smaller footprint and an asynchronous architecture that speeds communication and cuts latency. The result is that Mocana's product can fully leverage hardware acceleration.
