New Jersey Department of Transportation Selects PM Solutions As Project Management Improvement Partner

Phase I: Enterprise Maturity Assessment, Knowledge Assessment, and Training. PM Solutions performed an organizational project management maturity assessment to map NJDOT's current project management maturity level and establish a detailed plan for maturity improvement. In addition, PM College, the training arm of PM Solutions, administered a project management knowledge assessment profile (PMKAP) for individual project personnel to identify specific areas for training of executive staff, project management leaders, and team members.
Phase II: Pilot PM Rollout Approach and Ongoing Training. PM Solutions conducted a pilot rollout approach to focus the project management improvement initiative at the divisional level. In addition, the PM College offered PM Essentials and customized risk management, contract/negotiations management, and project cost and schedule management courses, incorporating NJDOT processes and templates within the training.
Phase III: Project Management Methodology Development and Implementation. Based upon a successful pilot approach, PM Solutions worked with specific NJDOT divisions to increase team productivity and efficiency by enhancing the way in which they deployed project management principles within the division. PM College continues to provide project management courses for project leaders and project team members.
