PC Laptops Offers 'Rent-to-Own' Financing Option for All Laptop Purchases
SANDY, Utah --(Business Wire)-- Aug. 19, 2004 -- To accommodate growing trends in the local market, PC Laptops, a top reseller of high-quality custom-built notebook computers, today announced a "rent-to-own" financing option for all laptop purchases.
Through a partnership with Progressive Finance Corp. (www.progressivefinance.com), PC Laptops can now provide local customers with quality portable computers at rent-to-own prices.

The application process is effortless, Young explained. The lease-purchase option does not require a credit check, and customers will not have to take out a loan, as they would if they were to finance through financial institutions such as American General or Wells Fargo.
According to Young, this kind of deal allows a customer to rent-to-own with all the same benefits of a same-day cash payment, but it does not affect his/her credit line.
"Our offer is simple and the benefits are twofold," Young said. "Customers get the products they want at prices they can afford through a monthly payment, and they also establish or re-establish credit at the same time."
At the time of application, customers must provide three items: a current pay stub as proof of employment during the past six months, a current checking statement to show the customer has had a checking account for at least three months and a valid driver's license for identification purposes.
