SightSpeed Appoints Eric Tveter to Its Board of Directors; Telecommunications Veteran Brings Expertise to Award-Winning Visual Communications Company

Tveter joins SightSpeed's knowledgeable group of cable and internet industry experts who are dedicated to leading the company's business development efforts in real-time internet, voice and video messaging communications.

Mr. Tveter brings to SightSpeed more than 24 years of experience in cable television, internet ventures, and wireline and wireless telecommunications services ventures. Tveter was recently named Chief Operating Officer of Telewest Global, Inc. Telewest, a major broadband communications and media group based in the UK, currently passes and markets to 4.7 million homes and provides multi-channel television, telephone and internet services to 1.75 million residential customers.

Prior to Tveter's position at Telewest, he was executive vice president and Chief Operating Officer of NYSE-traded Mastec. During his tenure with Mastec, Tveter was responsible for leading the company's tremendous turnaround. Additional experience in the telecommunications industry includes executive positions with Cablevision Lightpath, Metromedia International, Paramount Pictures and Warner-Amex Cable. He also served as a managing director of one of Comcast Corporation's UK ventures. Mr. Tveter holds a bachelor's of science degree in Economics and Accounting from Long Island University, graduating Magna Cum Laude, and an M.B.A. in Marketing from Rutgers University.
