Epiance Corporation Appoints Stephen Turner Executive Vice President of Field Operations MILPITAS, Calif. --(Business Wire)-- Aug. 3, 2004 -- Turner, 20-Year Veteran of Enterprise Software Industry, Former Allegis and SAP Executive, Joins Company to Direct Business Process Improvement (BPI) Software Sales ForceEpiance Corporation, a leading innovator of business process improvement and performance support software, today announced the appointment of Stephen Turner as Executive Vice President of Field Operations. Turner brings to Epiance more than 20 years of global enterprise software industry sales and business development experience highlighted by a track record of consistent revenue growth. Turner assumes his role at Epiance as the company expands its sales force, bolstered by a recent investment of $7.5 million in financing, and readies to release its latest business process improvement (BPI) software in the first quarter of 2005. Turner was responsible for world wide field operations for Allegis Corporation, a pioneer in the partner relationship management (PRM) business software industry. As Vice President, he led sales, services and business development. During his three year tenure, he increased revenues by four hundred percent to approximately $12 million, which led to the company's acquisition by Click Commerce, a leading provider of PRM software in March of 2003. Prior to Allegis, Turner was Vice President of Field Operations for SAP America where he had overall P&L responsibility for the $100 million operation. Most recently, Turner was president and chief executive officer of Chutney Technologies, Inc. Turner was brought to Chutney to transform the engineering-focused company to an enterprise, sales-driven organization. He led the merger of Chutney Technologies and Adeosoft Corporation, and he established marquee customer and partner relationships resulting in a second round of funding from new and existing investors. He led various enterprise product management and marketing efforts for Netscape, and was Co-founder and Vice President of Product Management for Crossweave, a pioneering web services solutions provider, acquired by AmberPoint Inc. in 2003.
