AccessAllstate.com Now Available to Allstate's Financial Institution Partners

NORTHBROOK, Ill. --(Business Wire)-- April 26, 2004 -- Award Winning Resource from Allstate Combines Client, Product and Marketing Information in One Central Web site Location

AccessAllstate.com, the award winning financial services Web site by Allstate Financial, a business unit of The Allstate Corporation, is now available to Allstate Financial Institution Divisions' partners. The Web site had previously only been available to financial advisors or Allstate agents who were registered to sell Allstate or Lincoln Benefit Life Company products.

The Web site has received many accolades from financial services and technology industry experts, including DALBAR and Application Development Trends magazine. In fact, DALBAR recently awarded the Web site its Communication Seal for Life Insurance and Annuity Financial Professional Web Sites last month. Lauded as a comprehensive and easy-to-navigate tool, expanding this cutting edge Web site emphasizes Allstate's commitment to its financial institution partners.

"AccessAllstate.com is a fantastic tool that helps Allstate effectively streamline how producers do business with us," explains Joe Tomalavage, director, Allstate Financial Technology, Allstate Financial. "Now our financial institution partners are able to quickly access client information, obtain real-time policy values, download forms, order marketing materials online, review product and fund information, access sales and marketing ideas 24-hours a day from one central location."

Meeting the needs of the financial institutions channel

Producers who register and log onto www.accessallstate.com see a tailored view, which only allows products that have been approved by their financial institution to be displayed. In addition, the site provides listings to Allstate products and riders approved by each state.

"Tailoring the site allows Allstate to meet the unique requirements of our partners," explains Rob Shore, executive vice president, Allstate Distributors, L.L.C. "For example, since these producers sell a variety of products, they require consumer-friendly financial planning tools that help them easily illustrate differences among the various types of retirement, college planning and life insurance products."

In addition to these illustrations, www.accessallstate.com provides producers with product comparison tools, investment options, a support center and information on training, compliance and Web site support.

So far, partners have been receptive to the site. According to Tom Cornelia, vice president and private financial advisor, SunTrust Securities, "Using the Web site has allowed me to more efficiently prepare for client meetings and reviews, as well as satisfy customer service requests. In addition, periodic reviews of the database serve as a tickler file for making client contact calls."

Besides SunTrust, Allstate's Financial Institution Division has almost 70 partners including US Bank, Citibank, Bank of the West, PNC, Chase and HSBC.

Financial producers may take an interactive site tour and learn how to register by visiting www.accessallstate.com.
