Employease Enhances Workflow Functionality for Greater Flexibility and Control
ATLANTA --(Business Wire)-- April 13, 2004 -- Employease(R), Inc., the leading provider of web-based HR and benefit solutions and outsourcing options, announced an upgrade to the Employease Network to provide greater flexibility and control in customizing workflows, business processes and user rights. At the touch of a button, Employease customers can define or change approval processes and HR workgroup responsibilities so that transactions are more effectively managed and communicated throughout their organizations.
We're giving customers the Power to Choose how they want to manage work within their organizations today, and we're giving them a flexible infrastructure to support change as their business evolves, said Phil Fauver, chief executive officer of Employease.
With traditional software, organizations had to hard code changes to workflows, approval processes, exceptions and workgroup responsibilities. This type of custom programming increases implementation costs and timelines while making the application of future upgrades more complex.
Employease customers avoid this unnecessary complexity, cost and time. Using configuration wizards, organizations simply walk through the process of establishing unique workflows and business rules surrounding HR and benefit transactions and requests such as paid time off, compensation changes, promotions, terminations, etc. Organizations can also establish exceptions at the job title or employee level as needed.
Employease also enhanced its workflow and approval process to include a new Request Manager. Request Manager gives HR a more holistic view of all activity from managers and employees. This enhancement helps HR more effectively distribute work across the HR team, manage peak workloads, and compensate for unexpected absences of HR team members.
These workflow enhancements will help our HR team provide better and more responsive service to employees and managers as they can find, prioritize, and approve requests faster, said Deonda Myers, director of human resources at Motoman, one of the largest robotics companies in the Americas and an Employease customer since November 2001.
Employease offers a spectrum of choices for using its award-winning HR and benefits applications. A customer can use Employease's applications, have Employease use the applications on their behalf, or a blend of both.
Employease outsourcing solutions include employee call center, carrier billing, invoice reconciliation, enrollment support, and fulfillment services. The company's applications include full-featured HRIS, benefits administration, employee self-service, manager self-service, leave management, performance management, recruitment and connectivity to internal systems, benefit providers and other service providers.
