Configuresoft Relocates Corporate Headquarters to Colorado Springs; Rapidly Growing Software Company Chooses New Location to Cast Wider Net for Recruiting Qualified Candidates
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. --(Business Wire)-- April 8, 2004 -- Configuresoft, the configuration management company, today announced at a joint news conference with The Greater Colorado Springs Economic Development Corporation that it has relocated its corporate head office from Woodland Park, Colorado to Colorado Springs. This move will enable Configuresoft to access a larger pool of qualified candidates needed to continue its fast growth. Configuresoft currently employs 115, and has hired 50 people since the beginning of 2003. The company plans to create 30 new positions over the next nine months and expects this rate of growth to continue into the forseeable future.
Configuresoft has leased 23,390 square feet of office space in Colorado Springs, with options to acquire additional space in the future. The company's headquarters houses corporate management, administration, sales and marketing, software development and testing, and customer support staff. Configuresoft develops software that enables large organizations to automate the management of security and configuration settings on server computers, desktop computers, and mobile computers.
Our decision to relocate to Colorado Springs is a direct result of the success we are having in both the US and international markets, and the fast pace of growth that has generated, said Alexander Goldstein, Chief Executive Officer of Configuresoft. We need to expand our workforce to serve our rapidly growing customer base and develop new software to meet their evolving needs. Colorado Springs enables us to continue to offer our employees the quality of life that first attracted us to Colorado, and recruit qualified candidates from a much wider area. The assistance we received from The Greater Colorado Springs Economic Development Corporation was instrumental in our relocation decision.
Configuresoft is actively recruiting candidates for positions in software engineering, marketing, and technical services. More information on current employment opportunities is available at http://www.configuresoft.com/company_jobs_current.htm, or by writing to employment@configuresoft.com.
Configuresoft has demonstrated the rich opportunities in the Pikes Peak region for companies to become established and grow in environments perfectly suited to each phase of their development. Woodland Park provided Configuresoft with an ideal growth environment for a small, dynamic organization, said Rocky Scott, President of The Greater Colorado Springs Economic Development Corporation. Configuresoft's need to grow significantly in a larger community made Colorado Springs a preferred choice after looking at other states in the west. The long standing Woodland Park/Colorado Springs community partnership has once again yielded a positive economic impact for the region.
