Unisys Awarded Five-Year Agreement with Potential Value of up to $345 Million with U.S. Department of Defense's Counterintelligence Field Activity BLUE BELL, Pa. --(Business Wire)-- April 7, 2004 --First Task Order Valued at Approximately $11 Million Unisys Corporation (NYSE:UIS) has been awarded a five-year blanket task order for the U.S. Department of Defense's Counterintelligence Field Activity (CIFA), the department's primary counterintelligence coordinating body. Under the first task order, valued at approximately $11 million, Unisys will manage the delivery and installation of technology, as well as the implementation of processes, for CIFA's technology infrastructure. CIFA has advised Unisys that it estimates that the Defense Department may order up to a total of $345 million of products and services under this blanket task order over the five-year term. The blanket task order was awarded to Unisys under the ENCORE contract vehicle. ENCORE is a government-wide acquisition contract program designed to support the global integration efforts of the U.S. Department of Defense, other federal agencies and state and local governments. Unisys is one of nine companies qualified to bid on contracts under ENCORE.
