Integrian Strengthens Management Team
RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. --(Business Wire)-- Sept. 24, 2004 -- Integrian, Inc. a developer of mobile digital video solutions has announced the addition of three new executives to the management team. Alger Faber has accepted the post of Chief Financial Officer, Steve Riegel has been appointed Vice President of Sales and Business Development, and Matt Mikula is the new Vice President of Field Operations.
These appointments signal a strengthening of the management team for the fast-growing Integrian, which was recently honored with the Council for Entrepreneurial Excellence "2004 Technology of the Year" award.
"The addition of Alger, Steve, and Matt reinforces the depth and breadth of our management team," stated Pete Durand, CEO. "They bring a wealth of experience and knowledge of relevant technologies that should foster Integrian's vision and evolution. It's a very exciting time for our organization."
The team's credentials are diverse. Alger Faber came to Integrian from his post as CFO at Entivity, Inc. a software vendor specializing in products for automated material handling and manufacturing systems. Prior to his work with Entivity, Faber retired from a 30-year career with Ford Motor Company. Faber holds an MBA, with distinction, from the University of Michigan, and a BSME from the University of California, Berkeley. He also serves on the Board of BlueGranite, a Michigan-based company specializing in improvement of business communication and processes.
Bringing additional diversity to the team, Steve Riegel offers over 20 years experience in the security industry, working primarily with communications equipment, radio frequency identification (RFID), and access control technology. Prior to joining Integrian, Riegel served as VP General Manager for Inside Contactless, where he handled the Americas operation. Riegel also served as Business Development Manager at Texas Instruments for the RFID market. His knowledge of the RFID market also served him as Business Development Manager for Motorola, Inc. Riegel holds an MBA from the University of Delaware and a BA in Business from Lynchburg College in Virginia.

As Vice President of Operations, Matt Mikula will lead the areas of applications engineering, technical support, customer service, and project management. Before joining Integrian, Mikula served as Global Manager, MR Open Systems for GE Healthcare where he managed a globally produced MR product line. Previously, he worked at such companies as Kimberly-Clark and Eaton Corporation. Mikula is an alumnus of the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee, where he earned a BS in Electrical Engineering.
