Sirenza Microdevices Announces State-of-the-Art Manufacturing Facility Expansion
BROOMFIELD, Colo. and SAN JOSE, Calif., Sept. 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Sirenza Microdevices , a leading designer and supplier of high-performance radio-frequency (RF) components for communications equipment manufacturers, and Exatron, Inc., a leading manufacturer of component handling and testing equipment for the electronics industry, today announced the expansion of their ongoing partnership with the installation of Exatron's newest automated handling equipment at Sirenza's Broomfield, Colorado facility.
Chuck Bland, chief operating officer of Sirenza, states, "Sirenza's initial relationship with Exatron began with automatic handling equipment used in Sirenza's amplifier IC product lines. We are now applying Exatron's advanced technology and equipment to our signal source product line to expand our manufacturing capacity by over 40%." Bland adds, "Demand for all of our product lines, particularly our signal source products, has increased steadily throughout 2004; this investment will enable us to better meet the current and future capacity needs of our customers."
