SLS International Enters Cinema Market; Company's Speakers Selected By Cutting Edge Cinema Chain

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. --(Business Wire)-- Sept. 20, 2004 -- SLS International, Inc. OTC:BB (SITI) announced today that its new Cinema Series of Ribbon Driver Loudspeakers has been selected for installation in the newest Cinema complex being built by St. Louis-based Wehrenberg Theaters, one of the leading theater owners in the country. The cutting edge Galaxy14 theatre complex will install approx. 250 pieces of the new SLS Cinema Series recently put into production in the company's newly expanded 35,000 square foot facility in Springfield, Missouri. The value of the initial order exceeds $100,000.

The Cinema Series includes behind the screen and surround sound models that are based on SLS' proprietary high efficiency Ribbon Driver technology, as well as several models of subwoofers. An extensive amount of R&D has gone into the Cinema Series over the past year, which SLS believes will enable the company to provide a product line that will change the way that movie attendees experience the presentation. The extended high frequency capabilities of the SLS Ribbon Drivers along with their lower distortion characteristics deliver a much more realistic reproduction of the film's sound tracks and produce a more even sound level to every seat in the theater.

Wehrenberg Theaters Director of Facilities Bill Menke was first introduced to SLS' products by Chuck Shoemaker and Mark Smith of Big Sky Industries at the Showest Cinema Show in March 2004. SLS shared booth space with Big Sky to test the market with some new designs of their speakers and Big Sky is now a Distributor for the new SLS Cinema products .

"We are proud to be the first theater chain in the US to present the SLS Loudspeaker technology to our customers," said Mr. Menke. "SLS' cutting edge technology provides an unequaled distribution of the film soundtrack across every inch of the auditorium. With this electrifying sound playback, our audiences will be immersed in pure explosive digital sound which in my mind is only rivaled by a live performance."

"We are pleased that a leading theater owner has selected our speakers for such a high-profile theater complex," said John Gott, President of SLS International. "SLS has been planning our marketing strategies with regards to the film and cinema industry for several years and our selection by such a prominent theater chain should increase industry interest in our speakers. Now, we feel that it is time to start building a base to expand upon. They are a very well respected company in this industry and are known as a leader in new ides and technology introduction. As our technology is ideally suited to make a very noticeable improvement in the sound experience for the movie going customers, we expect to make an impact in this industry in a very short time. We look forward to participating in two of the leading industry conferences at ShowEast next month and ShoWest early next year that are attended by all of the leading theatre chain operators. Also, we feel that the recognition we will receive for being the speakers of choice in the cinema industry will greatly add to our marketing of home theatre products expected to be in mass retailer's stores in early 2005."
