Rosetta Biosoftware Introduces Version 5.0 of the Rosetta Resolver System; New Version Provides Flexible Data Analysis Environment
SEATTLE --(Business Wire)-- Sept. 15, 2004 -- Rosetta Biosoftware introduced version 5.0 of the Rosetta Resolver(R) Gene Expression Data Analysis System today at its fourth annual user group meeting, ResolverTalk 2004. The Rosetta Resolver system, distributed exclusively by Agilent Technologies, is an enterprise solution for gene expression analysis used by leading life science organizations. Version 5.0 of the system provides a focus on meeting the specific expression analysis needs of users by providing enhanced:
-- Customization -- scientists have a broad choice of analysis options enabling fully customized processing and manipulation of data according to the specific needs of any user or research group. One of these features, R-integration, provides scientists with an easy to use non-programmatic environment to create, import, and use R scripts to perform data manipulations using their own algorithms or those in the public domain, such as Bioconductor.
-- Biological Knowledge -- version 5.0 of the Rosetta Resolver system provides scientists with enrichment tools for extracting biological meaning from expression data. Researchers use the Bioset Similarity Search feature to generate search results based on expression activities of Biosets, pathways or other gene sets.
-- Productivity -- enhancements included in the version 5.0 Resolver system will increase the overall productivity of research groups. Organizations engaged in collaborations will use the Gene Level Analysis feature to compare expression data generated from different microarray platforms such as the Affymetrix GeneChip and GE Healthcare Codelink arrays, thereby facilitating the sharing of results and knowledge about a research project.
