Turkcell Sponsors CeBIT Bilisim Eurasia for the 7th Time ISTANBUL, Turkey, September 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- For the seventh time, Turkcell is the main sponsor of the international IT and telecommunication technologies convention, Cebit Bilisim Eurasia. The convention is being held in Istanbul at the TUYAP Beylikduzu Convention Center between 31 August and 5 September.Turkcell, which serves 20.9 million subscribers as of June 30, 2004, works in close cooperation with its solution partners when developing products for various customer segments. If the vehicle is stolen, Otomubul sends an SMS to the owner of the vehicle reporting its location. It can also be used as a remote control device, enabling the owner to sound the horn or turn on the vehicle's lights. "World citizenship" with Turkcell Turkcell's WAP and GPRS services, which enable subscribers to access mail accounts and the Internet; SimPlus64, which adds a "Turkcell menu" to the phone's menu and GPRS roaming, are some of the basic Turkcell services also on display at the convention.
