Acsis Expands Executive Team; Aligns RFID and Enterprise Applications Expertise; New Hires and Promotions Support Growth and Superior Client Service

MARLTON, N.J. --(Business Wire)-- Sept. 1, 2004 -- Acsis, Inc., focused on delivering supply chain and business process automation solutions, today announced new additions to the executive team, as well as executive promotions and appointments. Acsis' expanded executive team serves to align the company to meet increased demand for its software and services for radio frequency identification (RFID) data collection implementations and integration with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.

Suppliers looking to comply with the RFID mandates of their largest trading partners like Wal-Mart and the Department of Defense require tight integration with backend ERP systems such as SAP. Many of these organizations have turned to Acsis to deliver both integration solutions and RFID implementation expertise.

To meet this growing customer demand, Acsis announced key new hires Vice President of Business Development Russell Patrowicz and Vice President of Solutions and Strategy Celestine Vettical. Both Patrowicz and Vettical join Acsis from leading enterprise resource planning provider SAP and will be instrumental in developing and delivering Acsis' short- and long-term product strategy.

Along with Patrowicz and Vettical as new additions to the executive team, Acsis also announced several promotions within its management ranks. Dennis O'Malley has taken on the role of executive vice president and chief operating officer. To spearhead marketing initiatives and working in concert with Patrowicz on new business opportunities, Steve Brown was promoted to executive vice president of marketing and business development. Dave Harty was promoted to vice president and chief technology officer and will work closely with Vettical to ensure that new technology solutions meet client needs. O'Malley's team includes John Dipalo, who was recently promoted to vice president of technical sales.

New members to the executive team bolster Acsis' already strong foundation in ERP integration. Patrowicz will draw on his past experience at SAP, where he was business development manager for Global Partner Management for the Americas and responsible for strategic alliances as part of the SAP RFID SWAT Team. At Acsis, he will manage and develop all strategic partnerships, including Acsis' long-time partnership with SAP. Vettical will also leverage his expertise as a solution principal for supply chain management at SAP, a capacity in which he was responsible for developing and managing national product rollout strategies for SAP's RFID solution.

"The expansion of the Acsis management and executive teams is critical to the company's ability to achieve the next phase of growth," said Steven G. Selfridge, Acsis' president and CEO. "Acsis' entrenchment in the RFID space and unsurpassed expertise in SAP and ERP system integration has attracted the highest caliber of professionals to the organization and given our customers the confidence of knowing that Acsis will make the most of their current and future data collection investments."
