``Camp Cupcake'' T-Shirts Ready in Time for Martha Stewart's Prison Arrival; Hobo Co. Makers Creates Vintage-Style Summer Camp Tees for Alderson Federal Prison Camp

DALLAS --(Business Wire)-- Oct. 7, 2004 -- B.A. Hobo Co. Makers, a Dallas-based vintage logo and emblem apparel company, has created limited-edition "Camp Cupcake" T-shirts commemorating Martha Stewart's arrival at Alderson Federal Prison Camp tomorrow. The T-shirts feature custom-designed artwork inspired by summer camp logos from yesteryear. Classic ringer tees in both men's and girly versions are available for purchase at the Hobo Co. on-line store (www.hoboco.com).

Alderson Federal Prison Camp, where celebrity homemaker Stewart will serve her five-month jail sentence, is nicknamed "Camp Cupcake" because of its open environment and lack of metal fencing on the perimeter. The first federal prison for women, Alderson opened in 1927 in Alderson, W. Va. It was the vision of Eleanor Roosevelt and Mabel Walker Willebrandt, the first woman appointed to run federal prisons. Stewart will join other famous inmates, including Billie Holiday; Lynette "Squeaky" Fromme, a member of the Manson family who tried to shoot President Ford; and Sara Jane Moore, who also tried to kill Ford.

"Every item we create has a distinctive story to tell, and our new 'Camp Cupcake' T-shirts are no different," said Herskind, president and founder of B.A. Hobo Co. Makers. "Alderson has a rich history that will only become richer with the arrival of Martha Stewart. As the only vintage logo and emblem apparel company with a collection of T-shirts from bygone summer camps, we felt a sense of obligation to create a camp tee for Martha's upcoming extended camp term."

B.A. Hobo Co. Makers was founded in 2001 with a mission of creating unique, expressive apparel featuring genuine logos and emblems from bygone eras. Unlike typical "vintage inspired" apparel, all designs printed on Hobo Co. products are recreations of logos and images from actual places that existed years ago.
